What XTEND Barre territories are available?
XTEND Barre is expanding rapidly across Australia, with studios open across four States already. Our territories are carefully configured by our expert in-house property team to identify the best opportunities for growth. We have prime territories available to buy in each State and your territory is exclusive and protected meaning no other franchisee can open an XTEND Barre within your area. How much does it cost to open a XTEND Barre franchise?
The total cost to build an XTEND Barre Studio starts from $125,000 to $200,000 depending on the size of the space, build costs and landlord contribution. Included in this cost is the upfront franchise fee of $45,000 plus GST.
Does XTEND Barre assist in the setting up the studio?
Yes, XTEND Barre has a Design Manual, sample floor plan designs and architectural resources to assist in keeping the consistency of the XTEND Barre studios. We offer options of one or two room studios depending on your market and property availability.
We offer you access to preferred builders to make your studio opening as cost effective and seamless as possible.
Do you offer training?
Yes, all new XTEND Barre franchisees attend New Franchise Training. This training covers all aspects of operating a studio and will set you up with the key skills and knowledge you need to operate your business smoothly. This training is in our Lane Cove NSW head office and is free for all new franchisees; you just need to cover the cost of your transport and accommodation, we’ll take care of the rest. We also offer ad-hoc operational training, both in-person and via webinars, on a regular basis. This ongoing operational training covers sales, retention and marketing. Initial training is also provided by software vendors as and when required.
How much profit can I make?

Profitability will vary considerably depending upon factors as: location, operating costs, financing terms, your ability to manage and control the business, sales and other factors. We do not predict sales or profits for any new locations. We encourage you to discuss this with existing franchisees and your personal advisors.

Can I own an XTEND Barre franchise if I’m not a qualified XTEND Barre instructor?
Yes! There are two common profiles of an XTEND Barre owner: one being an investor with multi-sites, the other being an owner/operator model where the franchisee is also an instructor.
What support do I receive?
When you become an XTEND Barre franchisee, not only do you gain access to our extensive XTEND Barre Operations Manual, you’re also assigned a dedicated Performance Coach, offering personalised support along every step of your journey. Our Performance Coaches are industry experts with extensive experience in all areas of studio development and management, combined with an in-depth knowledge of franchising systems.
Do I need to have prior experience in the dance or fitness industry?
No. If you have a passion for helping people, we’ll help you with the rest. Ideally you would have some experience in sales, hospitality or customer service. We will help you hire and train a qualified, knowledgeable team of professionals to manage and teach in your studio.
What are the size requirements for a XTEND Barre Studio?
A typical XTEND Barre studio is between 100 to 200 square metres and can be in main street frontages, on the first floor or in basement spaces.”
What is the ongoing royalty fee a franchisee must pay?
7% royalty and a marketing levy of 2% from the franchised studios total gross revenue.
