WHERE WE’VE COME FROM
XTEND landed in Australia in 2012, after the business model found fast success in the USA. Founded by ex-professional dancer and Pilates instructor Andrea Rogers in 2011, XTEND builds on the fundamentals of dance and Pilates to offer a completely unique full-body workout.
In 2017, Collective Wellness Group saw XTEND’s potential to become a key player in the fitness and wellness industry, and became XTEND’s Australian Master Franchisor. In 2021, they acquired the rights to develop and control the XTEND brand across Australia and New Zealand, positioning the brand for a new era of growth.
Today, we’re growing fast. XTEND is now Australia’s biggest barre-based female-focused fitness franchise, with over 18 XTEND studios across Australia.
Where we're going
The mind-body fitness segment is booming. According to Allied Market Research, yoga, Pilates, and other mind-body activities are expected to become a $66 billion industry by 2027.
It’s our ambition to extend our network across Australia over the coming years, further cementing the brand and sharing the success with driven and committed franchise partners.

XTEND instructors are trained to global standards with our Essential Repertoire Certification Course. When you become an XTEND franchisee, we’ll support you with everything you need to find and train your instructors.
